We caught up with guard Isaiah Thomas after Tuesday night’s loss to the Detroit Pistons, and he expressed his frustration over Kevin Love’s departure due to a fracture. “We talkin’ about a fracture here man, not a break, we talkin’ bout a fracture?” He further went on to say Kevin Love should act like more of a “teammate” and play through his injury.
Thomas, having played last season through a hip injury, stated “I would play through a fracture. I mean, he’s right handed, does he even use his left hand during the games?” Tensions continue to build in the locker room as the continued rumors swirl that the Cavs feel that Kevin Love doesn’t fit the teams “culture” and never has. When questioned about that, team leader LeBron James said, “you either fit in or you fit out, Kevin will have to decide which one he’s doing”.
